Their collective vision was to formulate a strategic plan aimed at bolstering the fiscal foundation of our city through four key pillars: Economic Development, Education, Government and Infrastructure, and Quality of Life. The GFPB Plan materialized with the overwhelming support of our community, as 70% of voters rallied behind a 7-year 5/8th cent sales tax initiative, complemented by business investments, private donations, and grants. This endeavor embodies a harmonious public-private partnership with the City of Pine Bluff, ensuring responsible allocation of funds to realize the 27 ambitious initiatives outlined in our plan.
At GFPB, we are dedicated to enhancing the city's revenue streams, fostering population retention, attracting new residents, and positioning Pine Bluff as a vibrant hub for tourism and commerce. Our unwavering objective is to cultivate the necessary collaborations to propel Pine Bluff forward into a prosperous future.
The core mission of Go Forward Pine Bluff is to augment the city government's revenue streams, thereby empowering it to deliver the high-quality services that our community rightfully anticipates and deserves.
